Yes, at the beginning. It's good and it seems nice clumps of clay gets stuck on it. And it keeps giving errors. I've only had the machine for about six months. The customer support is really pathetic. I don't know that I would recommend this. There's a lot of good things about it. But it doesn't come with a user's manual. So there's nothing to do if there is an error on it.
